For the 2026-2027 school, Erica is teaching on Wednesday afternoons and evenings, and Thursdays during the early afternoon. Regular lessons follow the Portland Public School District calendar. Summer lessons are scheduled as needed for all students to allow for vacations, summer camps, etc.
When do you teach?
Having an instrument at home that has 88 weighted keys and working pedals is critical to successful piano lessons.

Where do I get a violin?
Please consult with Erica before renting or purchasing a violin. She has relationships with luthiers and dealers in the area, and can assist in finding a suitable instrument.
Yes! Erica assists juniors and seniors with audition preparation / portfolio submission as part of their regular lessons.

Do you tutor music theory?
Erica has taught music theory at all levels and loves working with students deepen their understanding of music. She helps students prepare for the AP Music Theory exam and tutors students in college and graduate level music theory and aural skills coursework.
